The Patient Care Assistant plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care, including but not limited to:

1. Assisting with fundamental patient care under the supervision of nursing personnel.

2. Performing tasks such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or transferring patients, as well as changing linens.

3. Maintaining an active nursing aide certification in accordance with state regulations.

4. Preferred experience with diverse patient populations in a skilled nursing facility setting. Commitment to exceptional care is essential.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid certification or state-tested Nursing Assistant credential as per state laws.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language is required.
  • Must exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver care tailored to the age-related needs of the residents.
  • Must be a collaborative team player, exemplifying teamwork and a positive team culture.
  • Must possess patience, tact, a cheerful demeanor, and enthusiasm, along with the ability to manage challenging residents.
  • Must be capable of communicating information regarding a resident's condition effectively.
