Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients warmly and assisting the care team in gathering necessary information for each visit.
- Participating in Care Team meetings to prepare for patient visits.
- Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality according to regulations.
- Assisting providers in various medical procedures and examinations.
- Ensuring patients understand instructions and follow-up care.
- Collaborating on initiatives to improve patient care.
Specific Duties
- Obtaining and recording vital signs accurately at each visit.
- Following protocols for specific patient conditions.
- Performing in-house tests and recording results.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas.
- Assisting in administering vaccines and medications.
- Handling paperwork and forms efficiently.
- Monitoring and restocking supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
- Skilled in computer use and customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Flexible schedule to meet center's needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Current Medical Assistant certification.
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience or externship.
