Per Diem Admitting Representative

As an Admitting Representative at Mount Sinai Health System, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in our fast-paced Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Register patients accurately and promptly, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Provide professional, courteous, and time-efficient administrative support to facilitate patient care.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of patient data, adhering to hospital rules and regulatory compliance.
- Lift and distribute supplies, utilizing personal protective equipment and universal precautions as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, College preferred, with Medical Terminology.
- 1-2 years' experience in a medical environment, with patient registration and insurance verification.
- Experience with EAGLE, HMED, EPMI, and Forms on Demand System preferred.
- Computer proficiency, Word processing, data entry, and excellent customer service skills.
- Bilingual a plus.
