Job Summary:

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in a per diem capacity. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing a variety of procedures, operating and maintaining radiological equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Operate and maintain radiological equipment, including C-Arm and ultrasound equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure effective communication and seamless workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)
  • Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
  • 4 – 6 years' related experience desirable.
  • 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT.

Working Conditions:

The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and to perform patient transfers and positioning of patients.
