Revolutionary Campaign Lead for Supreme Court Reform

The Brennan Center for Justice, a leading nonpartisan law and policy institute, seeks a seasoned Campaign Director to spearhead a groundbreaking initiative for Supreme Court reform. As part of our esteemed Judiciary Program, you will drive a bold public advocacy and political strategy to bring about transformative change in the nation's highest court.
About the Position
- You will work closely with our Director, Judiciary Program, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive campaign plan focused on achieving term limits and enforceable ethics rules for the Supreme Court.
- Your expertise will be essential in building support among key stakeholders and the broader public through strategic partnerships, earned media, publicity, advertisements, events, and public education materials.
- You will manage a team of contractors assisting with research, communications, advertisements, and events.
- A strong communicator, you will maintain regular updates with internal stakeholders on relevant political factors and developments affecting the Supreme Court reform strategy.
- You will collaborate with Brennan Center experts in policy, communications, and federal affairs to ensure seamless execution of the Supreme Court reform strategy.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in legislative, issue advocacy, or political campaigns, with a proven track record of success.
- An ability to travel frequently, including to Washington DC if not based in the area.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to synthesize complex information and convey it persuasively to diverse audiences.
- A commitment to the mission of the Brennan Center and alignment with its core values.
Benefits and Compensation
The salary range is $110,000-$150,000 per year, reflecting the importance of this role in driving meaningful change. In addition, we offer an array of benefits, including a generous time off program, 401k plan, comprehensive health insurance, and wellness and office perks.
