Salary: $5,000-$7,500 per month, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

This role involves establishing and growing canvass offices in targeted communities, including scouting an office location, setting up the office, and creating an engaging office culture. You will lead field operations, including door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, voter registration, and get-out-the-vote efforts to mobilize support for the campaign.

You will implement data-driven strategies to track and analyze campaign progress, voter engagement, and canvasser performance. Ensuring accountability and optimization based on data insights is crucial. Building relationships with community leaders, stakeholders, and local organizations to foster support and collaboration for the campaign is also essential.

The ideal candidate should be ready to hit the ground running; however, training and onboarding will be provided as dictated by the requirements of the underlying project(s) on which a Field Organizer will be providing their services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers who can effectively engage with voters, explain campaign messaging, and collect data.
  • Supervise and support canvassers, office staff, and supervisors, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure a cohesive and motivated team.
  • Onboard and accurately track canvasser hours worked; work with administrative team to ensure timely compensation of canvassers.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create meaningful connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Self-starter with the ability to spot problems and take action.
  • Ability to critically solve problems and make decisions in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
