Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Charles River Community Health. As a key member of our Customer Service Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional and empathetic interactions with patients, families, and staff to create a welcoming and safe environment.
- Greet and welcome patients, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate billing and payment information.
- Collaborate with medical, dental, and behavioral health teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners to promote health equity and reduce disparities.
- Stay up-to-date on medical insurance plans, billing procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service, communication, and healthcare administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, registration, and scheduling systems.
- Strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and reducing health disparities.
- Ability to work in a bilingual or multilingual environment, with a preference for English/Spanish or English/Portuguese.
