The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at Emory University, in partnership with Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, is on the lookout for a dedicated clinical neonatologist to become part of our esteemed faculty.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in advancing the clinical, research, and educational objectives of the Division of Neonatology and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, providing clinical services in the NICU and engaging in the education of students, residents, and fellows.
Ideal candidates should possess an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent qualifications and must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Compensation and faculty appointment level will be aligned with the candidate's experience. A proven track record of academic excellence is essential, and the ability to collaborate effectively is expected.
About the Division:
The Division of Neonatology comprises a large and diverse team of over 75 faculty members, neonatal nurse practitioners, clinical fellows, and administrative personnel.
We are committed to delivering exceptional clinical care across our three affiliated hospitals, ensuring that our high-risk Developmental Progress Clinic serves outpatients from various facilities.
Our inpatient services handle more than 9,000 deliveries and over 1,500 admissions to our intensive care units annually, alongside more than 1,200 patients seen each year in our high-risk follow-up clinics.
Education and Research:
We prioritize education as a key driver of our academic mission, mentoring a diverse range of trainees, including medical students, residents, neonatal fellows, and students in our neonatal nurse practitioner program.
Our research initiatives are fundamental to enhancing patient care, allowing us to explore biological processes and translate discoveries into clinical improvements.
