Position Overview

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting. This role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in pediatric respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care environment, specifically in PICU and ED settings.
  • Shift Details: 7 AM to 7 PM, working three weekends every other week.
  • Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to different units, including Scottish Rite.
  • Pediatric Experience: Prior experience in pediatric care is essential.
  • Trauma Experience: Level 1 Trauma experience is preferred, but Level 2 will be considered.
Additional Information
  • This facility is a NICOTINE FREE ENVIRONMENT; candidates must pass a nicotine test along with a drug screening.
  • All candidates must comply with the flu vaccination policy, with no exemptions accepted.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist certification is mandatory.
Schedule Information

Shifts will be scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM, with a requirement to work every other weekend. Floating across units will be necessary for the duration of the contract.
