POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, ensuring the assembly of top-notch products. This role demands meticulous execution of assembly tasks as per the provided guidelines, emphasizing accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with quality benchmarks. The Manufacturing Technician is expected to meet production targets, uphold a safe and organized workspace, and utilize Lean manufacturing methodologies to boost productivity.
  • Starting pay at $17.00 and above
  • Consistent work hours: Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:30pm)

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Adhere to specified work instructions for the accurate assembly of products and components.

• Meet established production deadlines for designated work areas.

• Operate necessary machinery following safety protocols.

• Complete all required documentation and data entry tasks.

• Flexibility to work at various stations as production demands change.

• Regular attendance and punctuality are critical job functions. Adherence to attendance policies is expected.

• Perform additional tasks as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

• 1-3 months of relevant experience and/or training preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in reading and interpreting safety guidelines, work instructions, and operational manuals.

• Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

• Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Requirements

• This position involves Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Physical Activities

• This role requires activities such as reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions

• The worker will encounter both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and potential hazards associated with a manufacturing environment.
