Patient Support Center Representative

As a Patient Support Center Representative, you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers and identifying the type of assistance they need.
You will focus on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
You will deliver information and answer questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
You will also complete the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends.
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months of experience in a customer service or healthcare-related environment, and the ability to work any shift during our normal business hours.
Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience in a related environment.
Telecommuting requirements include residing within commutable distance of our office, having a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy, and having a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection.
