Customer Solutions Supervisor

The Customer Solutions Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Customer Excellence Center (CEC) in a customer service environment. The objective is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing and monitoring various processes and activities.

The Customer Solutions Supervisor position requires hands-on engagement with team members, external and internal customers, and daily activities with an emphasis on process adherence and improvement within the department and organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for client support in a specific geographic region, supporting the CEC in reaching productivity and service level goals for the department through monitoring of various daily reports and department planning. This includes monitoring orders, cut and reschedules processed by CEC, scheduling, and performance management of CEC Customer Solutions Specialists.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, expertise in computer systems and applications, and a positive attitude. They will also be able to analyze data and develop strategic improvement plans based on trend patterns, and demonstrate interpersonal, project management, and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for client support in a specific geographic region
  • Supporting the CEC in reaching productivity and service level goals for the department
  • Performance management of CEC Customer Solutions Specialists
  • Supervise, train, and coach Customer Solutions Specialists
  • Process improvement - Identify areas for process improvement, take steps to implement, monitor, and evaluate
  • Prepares management reports as required
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic improvement plans based on trend patterns

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required / bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of customer service or in-store sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of specialty gas, industrial gas, medical gas, and welding-related products preferred
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in computer systems and applications
