As a Stores Executive Intern at Target, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leading a retail team within a Target store. This paid internship is a 40-hour/week, hands-on training program designed to develop and prepare you for a store leadership role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of hourly team members and team leaders to deliver exceptional guest service and sales results
- Develop and implement business strategies and goals to drive store performance
- Recruit, select, and talent manage hourly team members and leaders
- Work closely with Executive Team Leads (ETLs) and other leaders to gain an understanding of their roles and responsibilities
- Participate in daily huddles and meetings to discuss store priorities and goals
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interest in working in retail, specifically within Target stores in management
- Leadership skills and team-oriented thinking
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
