Job Summary

Michaels Stores, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Manager to lead our front-end operations and deliver exceptional customer service. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for managing store recovery standards, maintaining a customer-centric shopping experience, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver effective front-end operations and expectations
Maintain store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers with their needs
Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs
Ensure all front-end policies and procedures are followed and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
Plan and lead the execution of class and in-store events in accordance with Company programs
Manage and execute shrink and safety programs
Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits
Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities
Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team to achieve results and support Talent Development
Participate in the truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget

Requirements

Retail management experience preferred
Ability to move throughout the store and lift heavy boxes
Ability to access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
