Clinical Services Manager for Eating Disorders Treatment

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Services Manager to join our team at Monte Nido Portland, a premier residential treatment program for adults struggling with eating disorders. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will assist the Clinical Director in overseeing all aspects of our 24-hour clinical operations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and support.

Job Summary

The Assistant Clinical Director plays a crucial role in the management of clinical services for adults dealing with eating disorders. This position involves assisting the Clinical Director in overseeing admissions, leading clinical staff meetings, implementing performance improvement plans, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is dedicated to helping adults who are struggling with eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. Our comprehensive treatment approach focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, promoting healthy eating and exercise habits, eliminating harmful behaviors, and fostering motivation and engagement in the recovery process.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Clinical Director in overseeing the entire admission process and/or clinical intake process.
  • Provide effective leadership to the clinical staff.
  • Assist in developing cost-effective methods to provide service.
  • Assist in providing supervision for staff development.
  • Facilitate communication with ancillary services.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing new employees.
  • Attend clinical and administrative meetings to share information inter-departmentally.
  • Work collaboratively with program leadership.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of administrative and clinical policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to communicate these procedures clearly and accurately.
  • Display ability to assist in directing and supervising Program activities.
  • Complete all job duties and timeframes as described by Primary Therapist checklist.
  • Assist in ensuring clinical staff meets educational/licensure requirements.
  • Assist in and prepares for Joint Commission and state audits as needed.
  • Assist in formulating standards for patient care.
  • In an emergency or declared state of emergency, may be required to stay onsite as part of the emergency team until the emergency has ended.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as identified by site leadership.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in social work, psychology or related services field, preferably knowledgeable in eating disorders.
  • A minimum of 1 year experience with eating disorder clients.
  • Licensed to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, as applicable, required.
  • CPR certification required.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
