Job Title: Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst

Prosum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing revenue cycle information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with external vendors, system owners, and community partners to design and develop revenue cycle information systems.
  • Identify and document information technology design specifications based on analysis/assessment of user needs.
  • Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems and devise or modify procedures to solve problems using data processing.
  • Act as an application administrator, ensuring data integrity, maintaining system security, extracting, analyzing, and transforming data, facilitating user/vendor communication, and managing software upgrades, implementations, and/or conversions.
  • Balance time between direct customer service and project-related activities, analyzing, planning, designing, creating, and maintaining intermediate to advanced-level reports using various technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience if no bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant revenue cycle experience.
  • Senior-level Soarian and HL7 interface troubleshooting experience required.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Familiarity and experience with 3M, PBAR, MedSeries4, Change Healthcare, nThrive, Patient Keeper, and/or Revenue Cycle experience (Scheduling, Registration, HIM coding & abstracting, Patient Accounting and Billing) a plus.
Accountabilities:
  • Customer Service: Address customer questions, concerns, enhancement requests, communicate with customers, handle service problems and tickets politely and efficiently, always available for customers, follow procedures, utilize problem-solving skills, maintain a pleasant and professional image.
  • Team Work and Project Management: Help team leader/manager/director to establish project goals, milestones, and procedures, work on projects throughout the organization, monitor and report on project task progress, and be involved in multiple projects.
  • Solution Design and Development: Analyze events, documentation, requirements, and needs to design and develop solutions to solve problems and/or meet organization's needs.
  • Performance Improvement/Transformation/Innovation: Demonstrate an ongoing understanding of and actively participate in performance improvement activities, identify and proactively pursue business transformation, use innovation to enhance/solve current system and business workflow problems.
  • Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge: Assist and participate in system activities both project and operational support-related, understand application build, design, and technical infrastructure, maintain knowledge up-to-date, be a technical resource for others, follow technology practices and standards (i.e. ITIL).
  • Reports & Analytics: Generate both standard and ad hoc reports, ability to design and assist in developing non-standard/custom reports as required.
  • Training: Train new/current staff members on applicable systems/applications, responsible for working with customer and/or vendors with training on new systems being implemented and rolled out for use in the departments.
  • Other Duties and On-Call: Ability to fulfill On-Call requirements and other duties as assigned.
