Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Engineer to join our team at PIH Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of major equipment throughout our hospital campus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating engineering, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. A steam license is preferred but not required. You will be responsible for identifying potential problems during shift rounds, developing corrective actions, and providing adequate follow through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair major equipment, including stationary boilers, chillers, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Identify potential problems during shift rounds and develop corrective actions.
  • Provide adequate follow through on maintenance and repair tasks.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience as Operating Engineer.
  • Hospital experience preferred.
  • Maintenance and repair experience of major equipment.
  • Valid California Drivers License required.
