Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of undergraduate and graduate degree programs and certificates in Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education.
- Oversee the database infrastructure for the school's programs, including degree audit evaluations, curriculum management, and course equivalencies.
- Engage in coordinated outreach and support of students to enhance student success and retention.
- Assist the Dean in overseeing academic policies for the school.
- Develop and implement business/strategic plans for programs.
- Review and respond to information from various departments regarding student evaluations, degree selections, and other degree program action items.
- Gather and analyze data for reports.
- Assist the marketing office with academic content for school and university publications.
- Lead the writing and managing of grants to fund the enhancement of the school's programs and curriculum.
- Ensure the high quality, currency, and relevance of the school's programs through periodic academic reviews and continuous improvement.
- Doctorate degree in an academic discipline in an area of Social Sciences, Humanities, or Education offered by the University.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience as faculty or administrator in a higher education environment and relevant workforce experience.
- Knowledge of current issues, trends, and opportunities in Social Sciences, Humanities, and/or Education.
- Ability to work with professional and support staff, and the community at large.
- Familiarity and experience with CAEP accreditation.
- Knowledge of the New Jersey K-12 landscape.
- Experience in developing and managing degree and certificates programs.
- Ability to work at a distance with students, mentors, and other professionals.
- Use of technology to communicate, synthesize information, and prepare reports.
