Job Title: EMT - Emergency Medical Technician (on call)

Chickasaw Nation Industries Inc is seeking a highly skilled EMT to join our team. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing medical support for our research projects, including the Optimized Flow Oxygen System research project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a medical monitor for subject care, assessing the patient's condition and providing necessary medical treatment.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide medical care to research subjects inside hypobaric chambers.
  • Safely transport patients to the hospital while providing ongoing medical care.
  • Communicate with medical personnel at the hospital to provide a report on the patient's condition and treatment provided.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to patient care.
Requirements:
  • Valid Oklahoma EMT certification.
  • Completed an accredited EMT training program.
  • Valid State/Federal ID with picture.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialized experience in oxygen mask and oxygen system maintenance and use.
  • Specialized experience in hypobaric chamber pressure-altitude flight.
Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily performed in various settings, including ambulances, homes, and public places. The EMT must be able to lift and carry equipment and assist patients. May be exposed to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
