We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Front Desk Clerk to join our team at SCI Hotels LLC. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process hotel registration and other transactions promptly and accurately
  • Stay current on hotel accommodations, services, and local attractions to effectively assist guests
  • Perform all guest accounting functions according to established hotel operating procedures
  • Adhere to all established credit and inventory control procedures to minimize exposure to loss of revenue
  • Demonstrate the use of sales techniques to effectively sell the property, maximizing occupancy and average rate
  • Professionally and competently operate the telephone system according to brand standards
  • Receive and process telephone and walk-in reservations accurately
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby area and perform laundry duties as needed
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager and/or Guest Service Manager
  • Understand and apply all hotel safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide professional and courteous guest service
  • Good time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when handling guest situations
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic math skills
