Restaurant Manager Job Description

At Amway Grand Plaza, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the restaurant, bar, and private dining areas to achieve customer satisfaction and meet financial goals.
  • Develop and implement promotional ideas and control budgets for various areas.
  • Manage human resources, including hiring, training, developing, and motivating employees.
  • Implement company programs and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Forecast, implement, monitor, control, and report on restaurant budgets and its components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
  • Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects.
Requirements:
  • Previous F&B management experience.
  • Excellent people skills, communication skills, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable in wine service and fine dining service standards.
  • Upbeat, positive, can-do attitude and ability to lead and motivate people.
  • Ability to work long hours and varied shifts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous POS use, training, and programming helpful.
  • At least 3 years of management experience required.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
