Position Overview

Role Summary:

  • As a professional dog walker and pet sitter, you will be responsible for the well-being of dogs in the community.
  • There may be opportunities for group dog walking on scenic trails, providing additional earning potential.
  • Initial working hours typically range from 10 to 20 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours as you demonstrate your skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Dog walking primarily occurs on weekdays between 9 AM and 2 PM.
  • Pet sitting duties are generally scheduled for mornings and evenings.
  • We seek candidates who can commit to working 2-3 weekends each month.
  • Shifts may vary from 2 to 6 hours, depending on client needs and staffing requirements.
  • Our operational hours extend from 7 AM to 6 PM.

Compensation Package:

Hourly rates range from $20 to $25, with staff starting at $20 per hour post-training, plus bonuses and client gratuities. Weekend shifts are compensated at $25 per hour.

Monthly earnings can vary between $800 and $2000.

  • Paid training is provided at $17 per hour for approximately four weeks.
  • A $16 bonus is available for split shifts.
  • Major holidays are compensated at $25 per hour, plus an additional $5 per visit.
  • Remote training sessions are offered, including videos, tutorials, and quizzes.
  • Client gratuities and mileage reimbursements at $0.65 per mile are included.
  • A monthly cell phone stipend of $25 is provided.
