About the Role:

Misura Group is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead the company's HR organization, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with our vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and policies that support the company's growth and success.
  • Operational Independence: Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, succession planning, and compliance, while operating autonomously to achieve business outcomes.
  • Succession Planning: Identify and cultivate future leaders within the organization, enhancing talent management and retention strategies to ensure long-term growth.
  • Collaboration and Engagement: Work closely with the CEO and executive team, providing insights and participating in strategic discussions to ensure your voice is heard and valued at the leadership table.
  • Change Management: Proactively manage organizational change initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR performance metrics and data analysis to identify areas for improvement and inform tactical decisions.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to business leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong internal relationships across departments, acting as a visible advocate for employees and promoting a culture of collaboration and support.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, driving consistency in policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Strong relationship management skills, capable of mediating conflicts and fostering ethical practices in the workplace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by a strong financial acumen and understanding of labor laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and critical evaluation skills to solve complex problems and make informed recommendations.
  • Self-confident yet approachable, embodying a people-centric leadership style that inspires trust and engagement.
