Job Summary

NEMR Total HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to oversee the operations of our Crisis Diversion Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the program, while also providing therapeutic and social support to consumers in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Oversee the overall administration of the Crisis Diversion Home, including program planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
  • Staff Supervision and Scheduling: Supervise and schedule staff members to ensure adequate coverage and support for consumers.
  • Inter-Agency Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies and organizations to ensure effective collaboration and referral processes.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement program initiatives to improve services and outcomes for consumers.
  • Staff Development and Training: Provide training and clinical supervision to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Crisis Diversion Home facility.
  • Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement: Develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality services.
  • Counseling Services: Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to consumers.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention counseling services to consumers in crisis.
  • Intake Assessments: Ensure the completion of comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing nursing assessments by licensed and credentialed staff.
  • Consumer Rights and Procedures: Explain consumer rights and procedures to residents in the event of removal or discharge.
  • Clinical Support: Provide clinical support to staff members 24 hours a day.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention counseling and/or staff coverage as needed.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health discipline is required.
  • Life Experience: Life experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
