We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer III to join our team at IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and summarizing the activities of cost control, planning and scheduling, document control, and estimating.
Key Responsibilities- Project Controls: Assist in the development and maintenance of preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans.
- Contract Management: Develop a working knowledge of prime contract requirements and apply knowledge to project activities.
- Communication: Coordinate review and approval from the Project Executive and/or Director of Operations, and communicate this information to the project team.
- Project Budgeting: Develop a working knowledge of the project budget and identify exceptions to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.
- Change Control: Support the development of change control documentation and related financial documentation.
- Safety Management: Assist with the coordination of safety resources to monitor site safety and correct nonconformances.
- Design Review: Monitor design content and quality and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance with basis documents, schedule, and budget.
- Procurement: Assist with the procurement and coordination of all required project resources, including intra-divisional, interdivisional, and extra-corporate.
- Financial Management: Provide support in the preparation of subcontracts, purchase orders, change control documentation, and related financial documentation.
- Vendor Management: Support the evaluation of vendor and subcontractor invoices.
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Problem Solving: Identify and analyze potential project problems.
- Teamwork: Promote communication and teamwork within groups and projects.
- 12-16 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field: engineering, project management, construction management.
- Professional credentialing is strongly encouraged: CCT or CCP, CST or CSP, EVP, CMIT or CCM, PMP, EIT.
- Experience working with multiple industry-wide software products, such as:
- MS Office Products
- Scheduling software such as Primavera and MS Project
- Client ERP systems such as JDE, QUAD, SAP, ARIBA, CONCUR
- PPM Software: Prolog, Proliance, Prism G2, Procore, Cleopatra, Cora Systems
