Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock and maintain the cart with cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Service guest rooms in a timely manner, including cleaning floors, walls, and surfaces
  • Make beds, move furniture, and operate and maintain vacuum equipment
  • Record room status on the Housekeeping Assignment sheet
  • Place guest supplies in guest rooms and empty and clean garbage cans
  • Clean and maintain equipment and relay maintenance information to the Front Desk
  • Wear a neat and clean uniform with a name tag and follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information, including labels and directions
  • Ability to communicate emergency situations to a supervisor in English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a professional attitude towards guests, associates, and vendors
  • Ability to move from guest room to guest room with exposure to extreme temperatures and clean floors and hard-to-reach areas by hand

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, twist, and move around the hotel
  • Ability to lift and carry light objects
  • Ability to stand and walk for periods of time

Transportation:

Transportation to and from the hotel is the responsibility of the employee.
