Job Description

As a key member of our InnVite Hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and comfort for our guests. Your duties will include:

  1. Stocking and maintaining the cart in a neat and organized manner at all times.
  2. Providing exceptional service to our guests by cleaning their rooms efficiently and effectively, adhering to hotel standards.
  3. Making beds, moving furniture, and ensuring all surfaces are clean and tidy.
  4. Operating and maintaining vacuum equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  5. Recording room status on the Housekeeping Assignment sheet.
  6. Placing guest supplies in guest rooms and emptying and cleaning garbage cans.
  7. Cleaning and maintaining equipment to prevent any malfunctions.
  8. Relaying maintenance information to the Front Desk.
  9. Wearing a neat and clean uniform with a name tag at all times.
  10. Following all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
  11. Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information, including labels and directions.
  2. Ability to communicate emergency situations to a supervisor in English.
  3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Ability to work schedule time and be on time.
  5. Maintaining a professional attitude towards all guests, associates, and vendors.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to move from guest room to guest room with exposure to extreme temperatures.
  2. Ability to clean floors and hard-to-reach areas by hand.
  3. Neck bending and twisting on occasion.
  4. Auditory ability to read and comprehend emergency and security information, including labels and directions, and to communicate emergency situations to a supervisor in English.
  5. Ability to hear emergency alarms, telephone, and conversation.
  6. Legal normal vision with or without accommodation.
  7. Ability to reach, bend arms, and perform light carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  8. Finger dexterity and grasping.
  9. Bending and twisting.
  10. Normal balance, crouching, or kneeling.
  11. Walking and standing for periods of time.
