Job Title: Housekeeper (Full Time)

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Miami Valley Hospital South. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors, as well as vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery, and dust and polish furniture and fittings.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings, and empty and clean trash containers.
  • Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner, and clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces, make up beds, and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout, and respond to guest queries and requests.
  • Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses, and contribute to team efforts.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
