About the Opportunity

This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the servicing of key intermediary sales relationships. As a financial services intern, you will develop a deep understanding of major financial intermediaries and collaborate with Business Development Managers to build effective solutions using Voya Investment Management resources and portfolios. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge of portfolio construction and asset allocation.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include providing support to senior Business Development Managers in the client support process, being analytical and gaining experience from participating in day-to-day activities supporting Voya IM's largest relationships, and interfacing with various internal functions such as RFP, competitive analysis, product development, and marketing to ensure an integrated approach to servicing key relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for CRM and other database support and maintenance, as well as other duties assigned by your manager.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong educational background in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field, along with basic knowledge of various investment instruments. You should also have working proficiency in Microsoft platforms (e.g., MS Office, Windows 10). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate high energy, resiliency, capacity, and ability to handle multiple priorities and execute tasks efficiently. Strong accountability and focus on execution are also critical for success in this position.
