About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team at GCC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in safety, cement quality, and process to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain systems and processes to ensure that all manufactured cement products meet customer specifications and expectations.
  • Promote the use of GCC products through active membership in professional organizations and societies.
  • Coordinate quality and performance dialogue between GCC's plants and the marketplace through regularly scheduled quality meetings.
  • Study and analyze significant trends in the performance of all competing cements in the marketplace and present findings to GCC Management.
  • Present technical information to informed audiences on concrete mix designs, concrete characteristics, and applications.
  • Provide technical services to clients relating to the use of GCC products.
  • Build relationships and maintain trust with customers.
  • Propose changes in processes or use of materials and services that would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations.
  • Provide technical training to employees of customers and to employees of GCC.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, chemical engineering, or associated sciences.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or construction-related environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and make formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistical process control techniques.
  • Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with personal computer and software packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize and to work independently.
