Labeling Machine Operator - Production Specialist

Refresco is seeking a skilled Labeling Machine Operator - Production Specialist to ensure the efficient operation of production machinery and maintain high product quality standards in our dynamic beverage production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned machines, conduct quality checks, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal production efficiency.
  • Startup machines and identify malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Report defective materials and maintain awareness of the work area for potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manually record data, ensure quality checks are complete, and maintain equipment cleanliness and sanitation to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all safety procedures and complete required documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify causes of downtime and report food safety and quality issues to management to drive process improvements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred, with prior experience in machine operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand units of measure, read and follow written instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Willingness to work any assigned shift, including overtime as needed, to meet production demands.
  • Capacity to work without close supervision and collaborate with others to achieve production goals.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk continuously throughout the production shift.
