Tank Operator

Job Summary:

Refresco is seeking a skilled Tank Operator to join our team in beverage production. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating assigned machines, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating assigned machines and performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal production efficiency
• Performing quality checks and identifying defective materials
• Maintaining awareness of potential hazards in the work area and reporting any issues to management
• Recording data and charting process adjustments based on findings
• Ensuring quality checks and procedures are complete and accurate
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Observing all safety procedures and reporting any incidents or near-misses
• Completing required documentation to maintain packaging specs and verify product quality

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Machine operations experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to understand units of measure and record information
• Ability to work any shift assigned and work without close supervision
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Ability to track and record production information as necessary
• Ability to move 50-gallon drums weighing 400-500 pounds on pallets and conveyors

Physical Demands:

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Continuously standing and/or walking
• Exposure to fish emulsions (a known allergen)
