Enterprise Sales Professional

A successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating business and selling large capital equipment to customers in the heat treat or metallurgy applications industry.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $110,000-130,000 per year, based on the candidate's level of experience.
The company offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Generate business and sell large capital equipment to customers in the heat treat or metallurgy applications industry
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and prospects
- Travel up to 25% overnight for product sales and customer visits
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand customer needs and develop solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of large capital equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% overnight
