Position: Facility Maintenance Attendant
$15.00/hr
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8AM - 5PM
Overview: This role involves performing essential cleaning and maintenance tasks within the facility. The Maintenance Attendant will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition by executing the following responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all assigned duties with professionalism to uphold the highest standards of the Maintenance Department.
- Conduct routine cleaning of offices, public areas, dining spaces, lounges, hallways, elevators, and staircases, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Dust and clean furniture, display cases, fixtures, windows, doors, and other furnishings.
- Manage waste disposal by collecting recyclable and non-recyclable materials and replacing trash liners.
- Regularly sanitize telephones using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Perform thorough vacuuming in high-traffic areas and remove visible debris from carpets.
- Clean light switches, doors, walls, and tops of furniture.
- Polish tables, benches, and chairs as needed.
- Eliminate cobwebs from all areas.
- Transport waste to designated disposal locations.
- Secure work areas with appropriate safety signage.
- Lock and unlock doors and windows as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and infection control measures.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events as necessary.
High School Diploma or GED. One to three months of relevant experience or equivalent training.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in English communication.
Environmentally friendly cleaning agents, including floor strippers, finishes, grout cleaners, and more.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, carry, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, sit, stand, twist, walk, and grasp as necessary.
