At MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc, we are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Services Specialist to join our team. This critical role involves delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical and procedural settings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering anesthesia safely and effectively for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Evaluating patients' medical history, performing physical exams, and creating individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Continuously monitoring vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels during procedures to maintain patient stability.
  • Overseeing recovery from anesthesia, managing pain, and monitoring for potential complications.
  • Informing patients and families about the anesthesia process, associated risks, and post-procedure care.
  • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Responding promptly to anesthesia-related emergencies and providing necessary interventions.

Requirements:

  • Current New Mexico and federal DEA certificate.
  • Current licensure to practice professional nursing in New Mexico.
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program.
  • Certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor.
  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current AHA Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Current New Mexico CRNA license.
