Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role:

This Cycle Counter role is a key position within our warehouse operations team, responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient movement of materials. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a critical role in supporting our production and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement solutions to safety hazards and obstacles, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist the Receiving Coordinator in unloading trucks and moving stock to designated locations.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including computer transactions and inventory movements, using proper forms and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Cycle count and troubleshoot errors to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, with experience in Infor Styeline a plus.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Proficient in Excel, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Self-directed with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
