Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling stock counts, and troubleshooting errors. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
    • Reconcile stock counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Assist in the coordination of inventory movements, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
    • Work closely with the Receiving Coordinator to ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory.
  • Problem-Solving and Analysis
    • Identify and troubleshoot inventory-related issues, including discrepancies, errors, and inefficiencies.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize inventory management.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, including the Receiving Coordinator, to ensure seamless inventory management.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and shipping, to ensure accurate and timely inventory movements.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably Infor Styeline.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
    • Self-directed with the ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks effectively.
