Job Overview

PULAU is seeking a skilled Electronic Technician Maintenance III to support the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Lewis, WA.

This role requires experience as an Electronics Technician or related position with a strong understanding of electronics principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Homestation Instrumentation Training System (HITS) equipment, setting up Mobile Network Node (MNN) and EXCON, and performing Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on all HITS equipment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also be able to interface with Army customers, resolve non-standard maintenance issues, and provide technical advice and advanced troubleshooting procedures within established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain HITS equipment to meet training units' requirements.
  • Set up MNN and EXCON to support training, operating Computer Workstations.
  • Perform PMCS on all HITS equipment.
  • Apply basic technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining and solving equipment malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot, replace, and repair military simulator components following detailed instructions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' past experience as an Electronics Technician or related position.
  • Prefer past work experience with repairing and operating military computer-based simulation devices or related equipment.
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
Salary Information

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
