Elevate your career with Qualus as a Senior Client Manager. This pivotal role is centered on fostering business growth and enhancing market presence for Qualus' Commercial and Industrial Engineering Services. The Senior Client Manager will concentrate on both securing new clients and nurturing existing relationships within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the sales initiatives for company offerings to Purchasing, Maintenance, and Engineering Departments within a specified area. Strategically oversees territory management and campaigns to meet sales objectives and strengthen client relationships.
- Engages proactively with both current and potential clients, dedicating a minimum of fifteen (15) hours weekly to direct interactions.
- Produces a specified number of qualified quotes weekly.
- Establishes and meets sales goals, driving revenue expansion and acquiring new clientele within the assigned region.
- Adheres to best practices in the sales process and utilizes the CRM system effectively.
- Prepares and presents monthly sales forecasts.
- Maintains comprehensive CRM data regarding leads, targets, accounts, contacts, and opportunities for all clients and prospects.
- Ensures accurate scheduling and appointment records in the CRM, reflecting time spent with clients and quote activities, while utilizing task assignments for effective follow-up.
- Collects and organizes customer/project information to facilitate timely and accurate quotes.
- Assists internal teams in creating presentations and quotations.
- Coordinates joint sales meetings with manufacturers.
- Actively seeks customer feedback to enhance understanding of client needs and communicates insights internally.
- Develops key account relationships, investigates customer requirements, and crafts high-value solutions to establish long-term partnerships and referral opportunities, ensuring a high closure rate on sales.
- Generates timely reports detailing sales activities, quotation efforts, travel reports, and expense documentation.
- Occasionally travels outside the office, requiring overnight stays of four to six nights monthly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Business Management is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in power engineering or electrical testing/construction services, along with sales experience. A solid understanding of the electrical and power sectors is essential.
- Capable of executing instructions provided in written or verbal form and addressing issues involving multiple concrete variables.
- Adept at interpreting company manuals, reports, workplace regulations, and procedures; communicates with confidence and clarity, utilizing proper English in written proposals.
- Proficient in using CRM, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
