Data Analyst I

Regal Medical Group is seeking a skilled Data Analyst I to join our team. As a key member of our data analysis team, you will be responsible for providing advanced analytical skills related to daily input and strategic processes surrounding member and utilization data. You will oversee and own data collection documents related to case management LOB, provide advanced Microsoft office abilities, and capacities to quickly learn new technical skills. Additionally, you will assist program manager in strategizing and driving process improvements regarding conclusions from data analysis, participate in data review, validity, and accuracy checks, and promote concepts and practice of quality improvement. You will also establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, actively participate in all related meetings and communications, and conduct Root Cause analyst, meet with departments to go over processes or programming to minimize root cause. You will analyze trends of and communicate ways to simplify processes, create daily and weekly reports, establish and maintain strong relationships with case management department, compliance, Data Support; and internal stakeholders to fix, prevent, and update reporting process as necessary. You will lead and attend meetings as required, provides training to staff member in encounter corrections process, and other duties as directed by management. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $25 - $27 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Requirements
A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or appropriate industry experience and/or certification, strong analytical/data analysis skills and comfort developing and implementing action plans, strong leadership, communication, ability to manage change is essential, current knowledge of industry standard and basic healthcare knowledge, able to work independently, set priorities, manage time, and drive to achieve objectives, able to work well with all levels in the organization, takes initiative to identify and solve problems in collaborative manner, able to hold other accountable for their results in a fair and equitable manner, able to use PC-based software programs, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Preferred qualifications: experience with data analysis and high proficiency in Excel, proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, M.S. Project, Outlook, typing/data entry skills and accuracy, proficiency in running data queries and data analyzing, knowledge and experience in project management preferred, excellent time management skills, outstanding communication skills, medical group or IPA operations and information systems management preferred, ability to be a problem solver.
