Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Analyst to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As an Industrial Security Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security programs and procedures to protect classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
  • Conduct security education classes and security audits.
  • Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken under direction of the Security Manager.
  • Review and process Personnel Security Requests (PARs).
  • Conduct security briefings and maintain security education programs.
  • Support the management and execution of program security as it applies to program protection and industrial security oversight for our Industrial Security Programs.

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 year of relevant experience with a master's degree.
  • Knowledgeable with the use of Company and Government Data Bases; SIMS, DISS and NISS.
  • Performing and familiar with PERSEC duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications.
  • Experience managing Security Vendors and keeping projects on schedule.
  • This position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
  • Current Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • OPSEC program experience.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills, and organized skills enabling effective communications.

Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
