Job Summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Quality Analyst to support the Advanced Weapons Business Unit at our Northridge, CA location.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail, planning ahead, and providing customer-focused support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation of preventive and/or corrective actions and continuous improvements
  • Facilitating various meetings, such as Corrective Action Boards and Material Review Boards
  • Providing administrative support for the quality management system (TipQA)
  • Maintaining process, production, and audit documentation
  • Collecting, updating, and analyzing metrics
  • Auditing compliance to requirements, both internal and external
  • Supporting the processing of nonconforming hardware
  • Providing support to various other organizations to address program issues/concerns and ensure requirements are achieved

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance or a related field
  • General knowledge of AS9100 standards
  • Experience reviewing data, specifications, and standards
  • Experience creating and reviewing technical documents
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
  • Strong analytical, testing, and problem-solving skills
  • Very effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Quality auditing experience
  • AS9100 auditor certification/experience
  • Functional knowledge and experience with TipQA, Costpoint, MES

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
