Key Responsibilities:- Lifting and Carrying: You must be able to lift and carry objects up to 100 pounds and manipulate up to 250 pounds occasionally.
- Pushing and Pulling: You will frequently transport loads of up to 100 pounds and occasionally manipulate up to 250 pounds.
- Material Handling: You will manipulate products by hand from a primary location to a cart, pallet, or plate. You will also move materials within the distribution center as needed.
- Equipment Operation: You will operate Powered Industrial Vehicles in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Safety: You will always make safety for yourself and your co-workers a top priority.
- Working at Heights: You must be comfortable working at heights while utilizing equipment such as a cherry picker.
- Reading, Writing, and Comprehension: You are able to read, write, and comprehend the meaning of basic communications.
- Computer and Scanning Systems: You are able to learn basic computer and scanning systems.
- Physical Demands: You must be able to remain on your feet in an upright position and move about on foot for the duration of your shift. You will also bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach at or above shoulder level.
- Math Skills: You have basic counting and math skills.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: This position pays an hourly rate of $21.50 plus shift differential increases.
- Shift Differentials: $1.00/hr for 2nd shift, $2.00/hr per weekend day as part of your normal schedule.
- Base Pay Increases: Base pay will increase by $0.50 at weeks 13, 27, 53, and 79 of employment.
- Profit Sharing: Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.
- Comprehensive Benefits Package: When you join our team, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs, which include Health, Dental, Vision, Life/Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), Paid Holidays, up to 40 hours paid vacation accrual, and accrual Washington Paid Sick Leave 1 hour for every 40 hours worked up to 52 hours.
