About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience: Provide a positive and engaging customer experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer, utilizing and understanding the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution, and maintaining awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations Commitment: Consistently maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines, keep a neat, clean, well-stocked environment, adhere to all standards related to signage labeling and merchandise presentation, follow the established sorting and stocking guidelines, and complete freight processes.
  • Print and Tech Expertise: Continuously develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided, including successful completion of Tech, Print, and other applicable training, and continued education in these areas is expected, up to and including designated certifications, if required.
  • Sales Techniques: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support the company's loss prevention efforts, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with clients and other associates.
  • Must be able to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation, utilize training tools and process inventory.
  • Client focused, positive and engaging, action oriented, demonstrates a passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions.
