Job Summary

This is a temporary or an on-call position that provides professional support to the Sales and Marketing department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Michigan State University. The role involves general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage student section groups and serve as the primary contact for their needs.
  • Assist in the development and sales of ticket packages, student entry on gameday, t-shirt design and distribution, advertising, social media, attendance data analytics, special events, giveaways and promotions.
  • Help manage a group of student leaders, sub-committees, and street teams to execute initiatives as part of the Athletics Student Section Engagement Team.
  • Support the sales & marketing office with formatting and executing marketing plans and scripts, executing promotions, corporate partner support, ticketing support and administrative duties.
