Position Overview

With a legacy of 120 years in mission support, our $3.9 billion enterprise, comprising 16,000 professionals, collaborates with clients worldwide to address complex challenges with integrity and professionalism. The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) is responsible for comprehensive information technology (IT) services management and operations for AFCENT networks, functioning 24/7. Tasked by USCENTCOM, the center provides information assurance (IA) services, including boundary intrusion detection and prevention for USCENTCOM components. The AFCENT NOSC encompasses operations, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support, planning, engineering, and maintaining enterprise-wide network architecture and services. In addition, it deploys personnel to support operations in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to maintain and enhance enterprise networks and systems.
Key Responsibilities

V2X is looking for a qualified individual to deliver Cyber Assurance and Information Systems Security Management (ISSM) for the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This role is dependent on the successful award of the contract to V2X.

Essential Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (with SCI eligibility).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • DCWF KSAT Category: 722.
  • Cisco Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and ITIL Foundation Certifications.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, demonstrating knowledge of:
    • Risk Management Framework;
    • NIST Cybersecurity Framework;
    • DoD and Service-level Instructions / Directives / Policies;
    • Cybersecurity Regulations and Best Practices.
  • Experience with firewalls.
