Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Responder to join our team at Kings Dominion. As a Medical Responder, you will be responsible for providing medical assistance to employees and park guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Care: Provides basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees, including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications, and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols.
  • Emergency Response: Responds promptly to medical calls in the park.
  • Accident Investigations: Performs thorough accident investigations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Supply Management: Cleans and maintains supplies and equipment.
  • Patient Follow-up: Assists with patient follow-up, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Must possess a valid CPR certification and a valid Virginia State EMT-Basic Certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II and a valid Virginia driver's license.
