Job Summary:

Kings Dominion is seeking a highly skilled Medical Responder II to join our team. As a Medical Responder II, you will be responsible for providing medical assistance to employees and park guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Medical Assistance: Provide basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees, including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications, and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols.
  • Respond to Medical Calls: Promptly respond to medical calls in the park, utilizing emergency response protocols to ensure timely and effective care.
  • Investigate Accidents: Perform thorough accident investigations to identify causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Process Departmental Paperwork: Process and complete departmental paperwork, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Clean and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Assist with Patient Follow-up: Assist with patient follow-up, as needed, to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • CPR Certification: Must possess a valid CPR certification.
  • EMT-ALS Certification: Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-ALS Certification.
  • Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification: Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
