Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Response Specialist to join our team at Kings Dominion. As a Medical Response Specialist, you will be responsible for providing medical assistance to employees and park guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Medical Assistance: Provide basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees, including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications, and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols.
  • Respond to Medical Calls: Promptly respond to medical calls in the park.
  • Investigate Accidents: Perform thorough accident investigations.
  • Process Paperwork: Process and complete departmental paperwork and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain supplies and equipment.
  • Follow Up with Patients: Assist with patient follow-up, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • CPR Certification: Must possess a valid CPR certification.
  • EMT Certification: Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-ALS Certification.
  • EVOC Certification: Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II preferred.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
