Position Summary: The New Home Consultant is responsible for driving sales by showcasing product features, designs, and advantages to prospective buyers. This role leverages sales strategies, adheres to company protocols, and applies knowledge of designated communities to meet organizational objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively generates sales by utilizing corporate marketing resources, model homes, local assets, and realtor partnerships. Conducts community tours and markets properties through local events.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor and primary contact for home buyers from the initial consultation through to closing.
  • Conducts tours and demonstrations of model homes.
  • Creates enthusiasm by accurately identifying the needs of potential buyers and offering suitable solutions.

  • Researches competitor offerings and visits similar businesses in the area.
  • Engages with realtors to expand network and prospects.

  • Maintains buyer engagement by employing effective listening and negotiation skills to address objections and concerns.
  • Ensures a positive homebuilding experience by maintaining open communication with buyers throughout the construction process.
  • Oversees community appearance and maintenance by conducting regular inspections.
  • Collaborates with construction teams to address any issues related to home status.
  • Ensures equitable treatment by resolving problems as they arise and communicating outcomes to relevant parties.
  • Optimizes information sharing by utilizing company systems effectively.
  • Provides consistent customer service by guiding and mentoring team members.

Qualifications:

All New Home Consultants are required to have a personal mobile device for business communications and adhere to company guidelines for customer interactions.

Education and Experience:

An Associate's degree or equivalent training from a two-year college or technical institution, combined with at least one year of relevant coursework in sales and marketing, along with one to five years of related experience.

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to analyze and evaluate information related to sales techniques and buyer concerns. Self-driven with a persuasive, enthusiastic demeanor and exceptional customer service skills. Strong negotiation and organizational abilities, with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for high-level interactions. Capable of making informed decisions and solving problems effectively.
